SG Coffee Store Pte Ltd (“we“, “us“, “our“) is committed to protecting your personal data and complying with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how and why we use it, who we share it with, and the rights and choices available to you.

1. Scope

This policy applies to personal data we collect through the Website sgcoffeestore.com, by email or phone, and in the course of fulfilling your Orders.

2. What personal data we collect

  • Identity and contact data: your name, email address, telephone number, and delivery and billing addresses.
  • Order and transaction data: the Goods you purchase, Order history, and payment confirmation details. Payment is processed by our payment provider; we do not collect or store your full card number on our servers.
  • Account data: your login credentials and preferences, if you create an account.
  • Communications data: the content of messages you send us (for example, enquiries or return requests).
  • Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser type, and information collected through cookies and similar technologies about how you use the Website.

3. How we collect your data

We collect data directly from you when you place an Order, create an account, or contact us; and automatically through cookies and analytics when you use the Website.

4. Why we use your data (purposes)

We use your personal data to:

  • process, fulfil, and deliver your Orders, and contact you about them;
  • handle returns, refunds, exchanges, and customer-support requests;
  • operate, maintain, and improve the Website and our service;

You may withdraw your consent to any particular use (such as marketing) at any time by contacting us or by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. Withdrawing consent may affect our ability to provide certain services to you. We will not send you marketing emails unless you have opted in.

6. Disclosure to third parties

We disclose personal data only as necessary, to:

  • delivery and courier partners, to deliver your Order;
  • our payment provider, to process payments;
  • IT, hosting, and software providers that support the Website and our operations; and
  • authorities or advisers where required or permitted by law.

All service providers are required to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify. We do not sell your personal data.

7. Transfers outside Singapore

Some of our service providers may store or process data outside Singapore. Where personal data is transferred overseas, we take steps to ensure it is protected to a standard comparable to that required under the PDPA.

8. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Website, remember the contents of your cart, analyse traffic, and — with your consent where required — measure advertising performance, including Google Ads conversion tracking and analytics. We keep personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or as required to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

11. Your rights under the PDPA

You have the right to:

  • request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

To make a request, or to withdraw consent, contact our Data Protection Officer (see clause 14). We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by the PDPA. We may charge a reasonable fee for an access request as permitted by law and will inform you in advance.

12. Children

The Website is intended for customers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

13. Third-party websites

The Website may link to third-party sites. This policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies separately.
